A credit union is a not-for-profit savings and loans company that is owned and managed by its members – people like you who live in and work in the area. Credit unions exist purely to benefit their membership by offering access to savings, low cost loans and, in some cases, other financial products. When members save with a credit union, their money is brought together and, from this, money loans can be made to members. Credit unions have no other means to provide loans, so it’s important that when you borrow, your loan is repaid in full on time. Free life insurance on savings and loans is included, giving your family peace of mind and security.
North Glasgow Credit Union also offers its members a variety of benefits, including family insurance services, funeral plan, ID cards and savings accounts for children.
Spire View works closely with North Glasgow Credit Union. The credit union is managed by local volunteers who give up their time freely and without payment to manage the day to day running of the business on behalf of its members.
